1. Agreement to terms
By accessing or using TaxCore (the "service"), you agree to these Terms of service. If you are using the service on behalf of a firm or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these terms.
2. The service
TaxCore provides an AI accounting assistant together with access to live chat support from licensed CPAs, and supporting information kept current with tax and legal changes. The service is a professional tool intended to assist qualified users; it is not a substitute for your own professional judgement. See our Disclaimer.
3. Accounts and trials
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. Free trials are provided for the period stated at sign-up and may be changed or ended at our discretion. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to breach security, reverse engineer the software, resell access without authorization, submit unlawful content, or use outputs in any way that violates applicable law or professional obligations.
5. Fees and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle shown at purchase. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly stated. We may change pricing on notice; changes apply to the next billing cycle.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us the rights needed to operate and improve the service. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy policy.
7. Professional responsibility
You remain solely responsible for verifying outputs, exercising professional judgement, and complying with your own regulatory and ethical obligations. The service supports your work; it does not replace your accountability to your own clients.
8. Intellectual property
The service, including its software, content, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that outputs will be error-free, complete, or current in every instance. Certain consumer guarantees may apply and cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the total fees you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms or as needed to protect the service or comply with law.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and TaxCore agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
